Tickle's methods are built on over 80 years of consumer science research developed at Harvard, Yale, Duke, Northeastern, Washington University in St. Louis, SUNY at Albany, and The University of Kansas.

This environment provides a safe place for members to receive deep, rich and meaningful information that connects them with others.

Tickle has been profitable for the past six years. Tickle has a combination of subscription fees paid by consumers with credit cards and advertising sponsorships.

Tickle Inc. was acquired by Monster Worldwide in May 2004 and is a part of the overall Monster network. The company's original backers include August Capital as well as leaders in consumer advocacy, media, consumer research and technology.
